No. of bitstreams: 1 LUCIANA PARNAÍBA DE CASTRO - DISSERTAÇÃO POSLE 2017.pdf: 2743789 bytes, checksum: 24d305d7b100958a02853f29c3a90697 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2017-07-27Pensando nas transformações que vêm ocorrendo na nossa sociedade nas últimas décadas, sobretudo a partir dos avanços tecnológicos, que nos situam em tempos chamados de pós-modernos (LYOTARD, 1984; ANDERSON, 1999; MORAES, 2007) passamos a refletir acerca das consequências dessas transformações para o ensino de línguas estrangeiras, que apontam para uma mudança de paradigmas nessa área (LOPES, 2013; MOITA LOPES, 2014). Dentro desse contexto, Cope e Kalantzis (2005) desenvolveram, a partir da pedagogia dos multiletramentos, a Aprendizagem por Design, uma abordagem de ensino que busca alinhar o processo de aprendizagem às necessidades e especificidades dos alunos inseridos nesse novo paradigma. Além disso, essa abordagem enfatiza o que os autores chamam de ‘movimentos do conhecimento’, que são os processos de aprendizagem que geralmente ocorrem em sala de aula, mas que, segundo os autores, deveriam ser processos conscientes e utilizados baseando-se nos objetivos de aprendizagem. São eles: experienciar (o conhecido e o novo), conceituar (por nome e por teoria), analisar (funcionalmente e criticamente) e aplicar (apropriadamente e criativamente). A mudança de paradigmas, no entanto, deve ter seu início na formação de professores, para que esses sujeitos possam iniciar as mudanças necessárias nas salas de aula. Portanto, o objetivo geral desta pesquisa é analisar os movimentos do conhecimento de alunas do curso de Letras – Língua Inglesa, na disciplina Estágio Curricular Supervisionado IV. A abordagem da presente pesquisa é interpretativa e, do ponto de vista dos objetivos, trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva. No que concerne aos procedimentos metodológicos utilizados, consideramos que esta seja uma pesquisa de cunho etnográfico, que vem mostrando resultados satisfatórios nas pesquisas no âmbito do ensino e aprendizagem de línguas (LUCENA, 2015). Os instrumentos de geração de dados foram a observação participante, as notas de campo, a gravação em áudio das aulas, a entrevista semiaberta e também analisamos os relatórios finais de estágio. Esta pesquisa foi realizada no Centro de Formação de Professores da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, Campus de Cajazeiras, alto sertão da Paraíba. Os sujeitos da presente pesquisa foram 02 alunas da disciplina Estágio Curricular Supervisionado IV. A partir da análise dos dados, percebemos que os movimentos do conhecimento predominantes das estagiárias foram aqueles relacionados a um ensino tradicional, como o conceituar e o analisar funcionalmente. Entretanto, elas reconhecem a necessidade de mudanças nas práticas pedagógicas, embora demonstrem receio e insegurança em sair da zona de conforto, do conhecido, em direção ao novo, à transformação.Thinking about the transformations that have been taking place in our society over the last decades, especially due to the technological advances, which place us in times called post-modern (LYOTARD, 1984; ANDERSON, 1999; MORAES, 2007), we start to reflect on the consequences of these transformations for the teaching of foreign languages, which indicate a shift in paradigms in this area (LOPES, 2013; MOITA LOPES, 2014). In this context, Cope and Kalantzis (2005) developed, based on the pedagogy of multiliteracies, the Learning by Design, an approach to teaching which aims to align the learning process to the needs and specificities of the students inserted in this new paradigm. Furthermore, this approach emphasizes what the authors call ‘knowledge movements’, which are the learning processes that generally take place in the classroom, although, according to the authors, they should be conscious processes and used based on the learning goals. They are: experiencing (the known and the new), conceptualizing (by name and by theory), analyze (functionally and critically), and apply (appropriately and creatively). The change of paradigms, however, must have its genesis in teacher education, so that these subjects may start the necessary changes in the classroom. Therefore, the main goal of this research is to analyze the knowledge movements of students of English in the discipline Practicum Experience IV. The approach of the present research is interpretative and, from the point of view of its goals, it is a descriptive research. Concerning the methodological procedures used, we consider this to be an ethnographic research, which has been showing satisfactory results in language teaching research (LUCENA, 2015). The instruments of data collection were the participant observation, field notes, audio recording of the classes; the semi-open interview, and we also analyzed the students’ final reports. This research was conducted at the Cajazeiras Teaching Training Campus of the Federal University of Campina Grande, in the state of Paraíba. The subjects of the present research were 02 undergraduate students of the discipline Practicum Experience IV. From the data analysis, we learned that the prevailing knowledge movements of the participants were those related to a traditional teaching, such as conceptualizing and analyzing functionally.
